Note
In 1975, the Artona line opened the new Maxalto brand, an offspring of B&B Italia, dedicated to high end furniture with a focus on wood and leather work.
The creation of the company itself came from the desire of Afra & Tobia Scarpa to marry traditional craftsmanship with modern production techniques. The formal result was a direct consequence of this approach.
Their 15 years involvement in the Maxalto brand resulted in some of the most sought after models of their career.
